This is what happened to people in Guatemala and other South American countries.

...there is nothing that prevents the application to any US citizen who is labelled an "enemy combatant" by our President. So it applies from day one. It is all a matter of who does the defining and the labelling.

If anyone is afraid there will be inappropriate defining and labelling going on, just take a look at how well this country handed Japanese Americans during WWII and sent them to internment camps.

This time around, the primary distinguishing characteristic will not be race or nationality --rather it will likely involve your failure to embrace this Administration's every whim.
