And instead of protesting like the Hippies did--do it in uniform and freaking march like lunatics onto the streets of Washington. No one in power fears the protests as they are right now. That shit worked in the 60's, and 70's--it scared them then but not now. I'm not saying march armed but if the Washington power base knew--knew that the lefties were all armed--in their homes of course, then maybe a few would raise and eyebrow or two.

5. One thing that bothers me

is all the "they'll round up liberals!" threads that permeate DU. It's sort of self-absorbed, IMO. No, they won't round up liberals. They'll round up Muslims, and immigrants, and anyone who is not a citizen. These people are the most vulnerable, and the least powerful. A poor Muslim immigrant can be tossed into gulags RIGHT NOW if this legislation passes. But there's no threads about the threat to immigrants (aliens). Do people not care about that? Why don't people talk about the actual target of this legislation?
