Why did I/We understand that going to war with Iraq would create more
terrorism... back from 2002, when they started beating the war drums

Are I/We so smart?..NO... Do I/WE have a sixth sensse?..NO..

Its just basic common sense , that if you go after people militarily and kill innocents, that naturally they will retaliate....

Why the fuck are rethugs SO STUPID !!..... The whole world knew this except

American Rethuglicans!!

1. I did too. I will never forgive any of the millions of turds...
who called me un-American for not supporting that damn war. I will never forgive the Country "Music" Community for assaulting the Dixie Chicks for their opposition either.

2. Yup, that's a real stumper.
I also remember the rational people were saying that if Saddam had WMDs, the surest way to get him to use them would be to invade.

3. They knew it too.
They knew all along that it would be a quagmire, and breed terrorism. That's why we didn't go into Iraq after the Gulf War. Cheney's on record saying it.

They did it because they personally profited millions of dollars off of it.

Except for the poor republicans, who are suckers.

5. You're probably right... The Rethug leaders must have known
but the common kool-aid drinking Regressive bought the hype.

Remember, we are so incredibly brainwashed... that we just cant imagine
that we (Americans) can do wrong !

8. Count me smart, too! I kept telling my repug friend
that this would only make things worse to the power of 100x. This war had nothing to do with 9/11. That Iraq was a smoke screen for bigger plans by the BFEE. She thought we just HAD to do this so "we" would be safer. I kept asking her safer from whom? How did we see this simple truth and people who, to this day, whine we have to fight them over there so we won't have to fight them over here?

I have to ask - is being a chickenshit coward just an innate genetic marker for repugs? I mean seriously, they run from fights while demanding other people's children fight, hide under their beds positive the terrorists are coming for THEM in the middle of the night and willingly trash an entire country's Constitution while sporting their damn bumper magnet jingoisms.

My friend and I have finally drifted apart. I couldn't stand listening to her nonsense and she couln't stand the truth. The last time I talked to her she was trying to talk her "shiftless, good for nothing" son-in-law in joining the military so her daughter and grandkids would have medical care, regular paycheck, etc (hate to say it but it came off as if he was "expendable" - no love loss there). Told her that right now we only have an economic draft (only job available in today's economy or only way to pay for college) for some but if things keep going the way they are, she'll get her wish and SIL will be going whether he wants to or not. She didn't appreciate the economic draft comment and got snippy - think I hit too close to home.

6. It's a basic sense all right- but not simply commonsense
The reason they "couldn't see" what you could see so easily is that they weren't looking at the future, they were focused on their feelings in the immediate present, and their feelings told them "it would feel damn good to kill half a million or so dark people about now."

So that's the course they embarked upon.
