Whereever you are in the US: VOTE CONYERS & KUCINICH...
Edited on Thu Sep-28-06 08:50 AM by IndyOp
WHEN YOU VOTE BLUE, WHEN THE HOUSE GOES BLUE:

John Conyers will be the ranking member of the Judiciary Committee and he already has prepared a 300-page document cataloging the many illegal actions taken by Bush and Cheney. Conyers cut his legal teeth on the Nixon impeachment. He is READY. When B&C are impeached Nancy Pelosi become President. Here is the cover of "Warrior King: The Case for Impeaching George Bush" -- with a forward from Rep. John Conyers.

Dennis Kucinich will become the ranking member of the Government Oversight subcommittee on National Security and International Relations. Dennis Kucinich - the man who people have laughed at for decades for proposing an official, cabinet level "Department of Peace".

Those of you who are disgusted with your choice of Dem for whom you can vote - as am I by mine who can't seem to get past "I love my wife and I get down on my knees every night and pray" -

VOTE CONYERS & KUCINICH.

VOTE BLUE.

Okay, yes, I AM PLEADING.

Get the Dems IN OFFICE and then we can smack the weak-kneed ones around until they shape up. You KNOW that their Republican opponent WILL BE WORSE.

The Dems can not do better until they control the agenda -

VOTE CONYERS & KUCINICH.

VOTE BLUE.

5. They are the two best reasons I can think of...
If Al Gore or John Edwards were campaigning they would be #3 and #4...

7. The only two I can think of. Am NOT happy to send certain people back
to the Hill and having a blue majority with them around is no majority at all, as we can see by how many times they cave on what we liberals hold dear.

BUT, Conyers and Kucinich. I truly respect them. God only knows, though, if they will have any power even in those lofty positions. **co has a way of pulling the rug out from from under everyone.

3. Unfortunately, a lot of people here don't understand

the importance of the numbers. They don't understand that the party who controls the committees controls the agenda.

Thank you for helping to make them understand.

8. We do understand. But we also understand that a lot of those people making
up the numbers are sell-outs, so what good are they then? Sure the Dem powers-that-be can put up a great agenda, but if the little soldiers who march under them keep crossing the aisle and voting with the other side.. well.. not much good is it?

10. What good are they???? Are you kidding?
Edited on Thu Sep-28-06 09:11 AM by bowens43
They could make the difference between the republicans controlling the agenda and the Democrats controlling the agenda. If you don't see that as being more important then supporting or not supporting any individual Democrat then you really DON'T understand. Do you realize that Bush torture bill never would probably never have reached the floor for a vote if Democrats were in chrage??

13. Let's try this again. If the agenda has to be VOTED on, and they run to
vote with the PUGS, then they aren't much help are they?
