I almost jumped thru the tube when Frist bragged about falling gas prices
on CNN a few minutes ago, as if gasoline prices were dropping the last couple months because of Bush's mighty fine economic policies. He even had the nerve to say that 'Americans have been watching gas prices fall for the last 6 months or so' and made it sound as if everything was so peachy and rosy. Six months? Every thing's coming up roses thanks to Republicans?? You lousy cowardly fuck Frist! How dare you imply it's anything else but an obvious Rovian scheme to have Big Oil drop gasoline prices starting in mid Sept right through voting day, just like I long ago predicted they would to buy the votes of the ignorant, you lying fucking slimeballed pasty-faced Republican beady-eyed sniveling puke!!

2. How freaking dumb do they think we are?
For months we heard "demand is up, China, China, China, everyone in China is now driving" and suddenly demand is down and prices fall? BS, BS, BS. Both OPEC and big oil want the 'pukes in power so the gravy train never ends. A few months of smaller profits is a small price to pay in the long run.

7. It's how dumb they KNOW republican voters are.
Gas prices drop = Bush ratings rise. It's as simple as that.

3. All part of the spin machine and election noise
which will end in November, then of course with increased holiday travel prices will magically need to go up. Enjoy the prices while you can, and fill up that tank for the lawn equipment to put into your car in late November to save yourself a few cents. `cause it will be over then.

4. Two Hedge Funds went down this past month.
That has more to do with falling DinoWine prices than anything this maladministration has done. That and the oh-so-obvious price fixing.

10. Gas prices are still 41% higher than when the Iraq invasion began.
The average price of gasoline for 2006 so far is 74% higher than the average price for 2003. (Based on historical price data obtained from the Energy Information Administration.)

I don't think I'll be thanking them quite yet.
