Its the "buts" that keep popping up.
The economy is in great shape, but seasonal hiring is either going to remain the same or drop...

We don't torture (according to Bush), but we want and need a policy that allows us to do very painful things to prisoners...

We don't spy on Americans, but we really really need to have this bill allowing long term listening in and monitoring passed...

And the country that I was born in continues to disappear right in front of my eyes.
