7. Barack Obama said we need to balance security and
..civil liberties, and that Congress should pass the amendment to keep habeas corpus (the right to challenge imprisonment in court.)

8. the senate must STONEWALL this bill in any form, IMO....
Anything less is playing with political calculus to America's detriment. Let's be clear-- any version of this bill is an assault on the rule of law and on the principles America stands for. I am beside myself with anger that the House voted to pass this, with Democratic collusion. Rat bastards.
