What do you think will happen in 2008?

1) If the Republicans stay in the White House? Will a non shrub administration be as agressive in pimping war, torture, secret prisons, polarization of the country, etc.? Will ANY of the worst works of shrubco, or their seizing of unwarranted power to the executive branch, be undone?

2) If the Democrats regain the White House? Will any of this madness--torture, suspension of habeas corpus, retroactive amnesty, Diebold, Iraqnam, corporate media consolidation--be undone?

4. Electronic voting machines need to be banned state by state - because

the only Democrat that CAN win is the one cognizant of election fraud and the voting machine problems.

Undoing the damage to law and order, though, that's going to take some time. It's hard to undo that damage, because you can't just pass a law saying these things are illegal--they're already illegal, somebody just went ahead and flaunted the law. But if we start with hearings, investigations, and assigning responsibility, we'll eventually reach a point where there's some kind of deterrent to lawbreaking once again.
