14. I have a feeling the attack ads have already been made for all Dems
just in case they voted against.

There is a reason Republicans pushed this to so close to the election

9. I couldn't DISagree more
That's the same mentality that starts wars, kills people, and promotes and precipitates violence, bigotry, racism, sexism, homophobia... That may be ok with some republicans and apparently even som "Progressives" but I will never stoop to that level. It's below me.

13. They're human.
Contrary to the guy who said, "I am human, therefore nothing human is alien to me," I am afraid that the whole deal is alien to me....and I would very much like it to remain that way.

15. I make an exception for the dehumanizers.
According to the Repukes, every detainee is a "terrorist" and doesn't deserve to be treated like a human being. So I dehumanize THEM, and don't apologize to anyone for it!

17. I disagree
I made this post at about the same time the OP made his, and his got all the attention, which is fine. However, I agree with a couple of the other responses...dehumanizing them is not a healthy step to make. It is no different than saying "but they did it first, so it's okay." It isn't okay. They're not subhuman. They are very dim humans; easily mislead humans; ignorant humans. But they're humans nonetheless.

21. Let me express my thoughts right now
(All) Republicans members of Congress who voted Aye on approving torture and kangaroo courts are subhuman war criminals.

Is that a fair statement?

22. Generally, generalizations stink especially for this thread.
Some people who claim to be Republicans are subhuman (just like every other group). All who voted to allow torture "methods", also fit into the subhuman category.

Republicans may be freaking stupid, among other things, but don't start classifying other people as subhuman. Its just not a good thing to do.
