Anyone here pay 1040-ES taxes on 9/15/2006?

I just checked and my 9/15/06 1040-ES payment check hasn't been deposited by the IRS yet - it normally would have by now. (Mailed 9/15/06) If Bush asked the IRS to hold millions of these - tens of billions of dollars - and deposit them on or after October 1, then Bush/GOP can use it against FY2007 and announce how great they are at deficit reduction (compared to their projections) --- just in time for the November elections...

Then of course, it could be just the postal service or the IRS being slow :evilgrin:
