When they say 'I go after dems and repubs both'...
Scarborough said this repeatedly last night on his show. I had to laugh a little. It sounded like someone saying 'Some of my best friends are..." well, you can fill in the blank.

O'Lielly tries to cut himself as an independent as well.

It seems like they have to come up with something they don't agree with the repukes on in order to somehow make themselves unbiased in a lame attempt at credibility.

1. I suspect they will be doing more of it too
The ones who pretend to be independent that is - particularly if the election goes hard for the Republicans.

2. What they don't say is that
they give GOP lies a platform. There is no place for making their lies equal to the truth, they shouldn't be giving equal time and weight to arguments that are undocumented and false like the swiftboaters. It gives them credence and free time to spew and gets their lies into the dialog.

3. It's so lame it's funny!
I go after Dems and Repubs both...but when I catch a Dem, I stick a shiv in their ribs, when I catch a Repub, I, uh, tickle 'em!!! Tee hee!

Scarborough is on thin ice. It's down to him and Fucker Carlson--which one will survive to be the lonely opposite number Allen Colmes of MSNBC? Or will they force them into bed together, doing a single show with Rita Cosby as the field reporter? Now THAT would be justice....scrape all that festering hate into one merciful hour, and put it opposite something like the BBC World News, so we have a respectable alternative.
