The ExxonMobil PAC gives almost exclusively to Republicans...
So I am going to go out on a limb and say they probably want them to win the election. If you don't believe me look their pac up at http://www.fec.gov

I think is probably why the oil prices are dropping so fast, so that people won't associate pain at the pump with the Republicans, and be more likely to vote for them in Congress.

1. These PACs are not any better than the system we had before...
they just do it right in front of our faces.

5. And the majority of Democrats they give to are conservative...
or extremely moderate. I think there may be a pattern here.

Corporations shouldn't be able to donate money at all.

3. I suspect that they aer using some of those massive profits
to fund this election. In other words there was no need to raise the price of gas.

4. Was that the case when Democrats controlled Congress?
Do they actually want the Democrats to win, or are they just trying to influence the ones who actually have power?

6. The records don't go that far back...
only about as far as 2000 in the most extreme cases. Obviously they are voting with dollars for the people who will represent them best, and if the Democrats were beholden to them back then, well there you go.
