"Nobody wants us out of Iraq more than President Bush."
Just heard that a few minutes ago in my hotel lobby on Faux and Fiends. I almost choked on my bagel.
I have no idea who the Bushbimbo was who said it, but I commend her for being able to say it with a straight face.

3. Except the people that are there...
and their loved ones. You know, the ones that are actually making the sacrifice.

4. The new double speak.
It's just like the line, "I don't think anyone could have anticipated...(you fill in the blank)".

It's more of the same thought crime that has been perpetrated upon us.

11. If the obstructionist, treasonous Democrats weren't in his way
He would have already won the wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, North Korea, Iran and Syria. But Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and Hillary Clinton have played politics with American lives and cost him these glorious victories!

:sarcasm:

6. Is that why he said that Iraq was a situation for future presidentS
(note, plural) to take up?

Meaning, at a minimum (barring death or forcible removal from office) four more years of Iraq deaths past the passing of the Presidency (if elections are not put on hold; "can't change horses in midstream", you know ...) in 2009 ...

Possibly 16 more years, if Republicans somehow manage to steal victory from the jaws of defeat and re-elect incumbents ...

8. He did what he was installed in office to do.
Invade Iraq with an eye for control of the entire Middle East...except that things didn't turn out the way the neocons wanted, so whoever is elected in 2008 will be stuck cleaning up Boy George's mess. As far as he's concerned, it's not his problem anymore.
