Is Bin Laden dead or not? Was the October Surprise blown?
I saw a story today on CNN about how Bin Laden was spotted in the mountains of Pakistan and that we are closing in on him. Will they trot out his body in October?

What happened to the French story about Bin Laden's death? I did not hear one thing about it yesterday.

1. October is coming right up
I wonder how that would actually play, though. I mean people are already largely suspicious about the political nature of the dropping gas prices - pulling Bin Ladin out of a hat, isn't that a little bit too much on the nose.

3. Note The Timing Of The NIE leak as well
Seems someone wanted to embarass this regime and these were some 1-2 punches that methinks came right from the disgruntled in Langley who have some serious scores now to settle with the BFEE.

The bin Laden's dead story originated in France (surely no friend of booosh) and the story line was/is how bin Laden died of "Natural Causes". Such a story, true or not, throws ice water on any Rovian ploy to pull Osama from a hidey hole or bunker bust him to the 72 virgins. Also, the lack of any traction on the story showed how cynical people have become. Even with bin Laden gone...so what, it doesn't bring our troops home any sooner or make this country any safer. Osama serves this regime better by being alive right now and as the "lurking bogeyman". If he dies that takes that chit off the table and they'd have to scramble real quick to come up with another "evil-doer". bin Laden's worked for two elections so far and why not go to the well one more time?

The NIE story all but blew the legs out of this regime's meme of "winning the war" and how fighting them there makes us safer here. Clinton's appearance on Faux also shook the GOOPy trees as they now will have to answer for why they haven't captured Osama.

In 24 hours, the debate turned now on what this regime did or didn't do in those 9 months prior to 9/11...and about time! It was the game the Repugnicans have played turned on its head and this regime is still trying to find an answer to Clinton's charge. That'll teach those bastards to piss the Big Dog off...maybe Path to 9/11 will be a turning point.

Cheers...
