The rest of the reasons have all been proven lies. So it appears that for the Iraqi people it has come down to submit or die. Thats kind of mindboggling when you stop and think about it for a minute. I sure wouldn't ever want to be in the position the Iraqi people now find themselves.

1. I fear you may be correct
Which means that the only two classifications of Iraqi citizen our soldiers have to deal with is Iraqis that play ball and those that don't, and they're the insurgents and therefore cannon fodder. I fear our soldiers are being asked to do monsterous things.

2. My son served in Muslim territory in Desert Storm

They knew they were unwelcome and obeyed Muslim customs and kept a quiet role.

For W to occupy a Muslim country will NEVER bring peace. They are not of our culture and don't want ours.

They resent it completely.

3. I think our cultures are identical as far as occupation goes
I am convinced that I would resent occupation of our country by armed Iraqi soldiers just as much as the Iraqis resent the occupation of their country by armed American soldiers.

I truly believe this.

4. I agree
One culture does not change just because an occupying culture is different. We would not change, nor will they.

5. Today Amy Goodman had the mayor of Salt Lake City on.
He talked very directly about how the tactics used in Iraq are finding their way home. He cited several cases of prisoners who'd been tortured to death stateside. I'm not doing his recounting justice but, this is what I have been dreading all along.

It's bad enough to know that your government is slaughtering innocent people in other countries. It's slightly worse to know that these behaviors will inevitably come home, are coming home now.
