Things to teach alongside Intelligent Design
Edited on Tue Sep-26-06 10:46 PM by ck4829
CHEMISTRY
How many elements do we have?
Why bother with the always growing number of unstable elements that only last a number of seconds?
Kids, imagine how easy it would be if we only taught the 4 Elements! Fire, Air, Water, and Earth! And we all know that 4 Elements explains the Universe without all those fancy equations and such. So, let's teach them about the 4 Elements.

GEOGRAPHY
Since nobody has ever circumnavigated the Earth or anything, we should teach our kids that the Earth may actually be flat. I mean, if a scientific sounding group called the Flat Earth Society still believes in it, then we should teach it to our kids, right?

HEALTH
Germ Theory of Disease? What's that? We have an obligation to our children to teach them the FACTS, and everybody knows that diseases and such are caused by an imbalance in the Four Humours. So stop teaching them that germs cause disease and instead that it could be caused by having too much blood in your body.

PSYCHOLOGY
Why waste time on the mind? With the tried and true science of Phrenology we can spot criminals even before they commit crimes. So, stop the psychobabble and start the phrenology.

1. EE - get rid of electrical engineering
I always felt that EE was satanic and demonic.

i - which is the square root of minus 1. We know that doesn't exist - it's "imaginary" - like Harry Potter or Satan. But all of EE is based on calculus and algebra of i.

Maxwell's Equations. i ad absurdum - just i with DIV, CURL and GRAD -- and dot products and cross products. More Satanic stuff.

Vectors and Tensors and Phasers? Pure hokum.

AC circuits with "Reactive Power" - which "they" call "Imaginary Power" - even more imaginary.

2. Civics.
No checks & balances. Unitary executive. The Pres gets to decide which laws he'll follow and which he won't. If you disagree with him, you are The Enemy. The Enemy can be fired, jailed, deported & tortured. The rest of America should live in fear.
