Marital sniping in the (Brit) Humes marriage? Wife leaves Faux
Fox News' war zone is the D.C. bureau

Marital sniping may have led to the departure of Brit Hume's wife, Kim, from Fox News last week.

Kim Hume's imminent exit as Fox's D.C. bureau chief was announced Thursday. The buzz out of Washington is that she and the anchorman had been tattletaling on each other to the chairman and CEO of Fox Television Stations.

"They'd been calling Roger in New York separately," reports our source. "They'd complain to him about each other."

(snip)

"Brit's not the easiest guy to get along with," said the source. "You disagree with him, and it's an argument. It's his way or the highway. is a tough cookie, but he speaks down to her in front of other people."

4. My comments almost exactly
Hume is a pompous jackass. He lost any journalistic credibility when he joined Faux News. With their vitriolic and biased hatred of anything that is not neo-con, Faux is burying itself.

6. Yes. I do.
Brit's another s.o.b. who's gonna be surprised when he makes the great last leap. I just don't know which circle of hell it's gonna be. It'll be the appropriate one though.

9. Wow, do you have a link to a story about that?
I've never heard anything about that and you've piqued my curiosity all of a sudden.

10. Wasn't it amid speculation that his lover was a congressman?
I seem to remember that much, but don't remember his (congressmans) name. Brit Hume is a sour loser. Imagine having to live with him. Glad Jon Stewart raked him over the coals tonight.

11. Mrs. Hume is getting a "Flat Brit".
It's just like those "Flat Daddies" they're giving out to the kids of servicemen.

"It's much quieter, and it even smiles occasionally," Mrs. Hume said approvingly, as she gazed lovingly at her "Flat Brit".

14. No surprise here. Son committed suicide, too...
Hume is a poor excuse for a human being, and I suspect he is toxic to anyone close to him. Destined for a life of unhappiness...karma, I guess.

18. That's pretty sad, actually. I was getting ready to say snide things, but
if their kid killed himself, I find nothing worth gloating about now. Suicides frequently break up families--including parents' marriages. The strain is unimagineable to us who've never experienced that. I of course still find Humes's slanted, sleazy, yellow journalism despicable. I pray I'm never so much like the Foxies that I find joy in their personal tragedies.
