The Truth Is Not Always In The Middle
The truth is not always in the middle. Sometimes one "side" is telling the truth and the "other side" is bald faced lying.

As long as "journalists" fail to freaking read pertinent documents & conduct necessary background research, they have no freaking business on the public airwaves broadcasting the "news".

Sitting here watching our local news and they did the he said she said approach to the lies that this criminal cabal is propagandizing. Jesus, all they have to do is confuse the uniformed and it is a victory for the fascist bastards who no longer even try to hide their lies.

How the hell do you wake up people who are more interested in American Idol than they are American democracy?

1. Right -- they see a need to "balance" truth with lies.
"Balance" facts with spin.

"Balance" sanity with insanity.

"Balance" news with propaganda....

2. truth is not democratic
Most people are in ignorance, and if you hold a vote, you'll just get ignorance.
The survival of civility depends on an elitism to override democracy, and the
truth is never in the middle... no. Plato said some time ago... The athenian
congress was just a populist mess, governing itself in to the ground for failure
of the pelopennisian (sp) wars.

Outside of a battle between truth versus lies, there are very few ways to describe the left versus the right, progressive versus regressive.

4. Balanced is bullshit
Edited on Tue Sep-26-06 09:10 PM by C_U_L8R
as in the Faux News interpretation of the word.

To them it means giving lies equal time with the truth...
in order to advance a deceptive republican agenda.

Fortunately lies are fairly easy to unravel...
and truth is everlasting.

Where are the journalists who are willing to FIGHT for truth ???

7. I'm thinking
about the only way is to dig up Reagan's grave, wake his ass up, and ask him why he got rid of the fairness doctrine.

That's where it all started, you know.
