Ouch & Yuck - Glenn Beck is beating Tweety in Ratings
Glad it's not KO.

For the first time since his May launch, Glenn Beck is beating MSNBC's Hardball with Chris Matthews in the coveted 25-54 demographic. HLN's Beck averaged 149,000 demo viewers in September, up from 112,000 in August and 99,000 in July. MSNBC's Matthews averaged 132,000 demo viewers in September, down from 141,000 in August and 125,000 in July. (Click on the chart to view it full-size.)

Beck is also growing among total viewers -- he averaged 161,000 in May, 141,000 in June, 183,000 in July, 237,000 in August, and 321,000 in September. He's gaining on Matthews, who averaged 351,000 at 7pm in September...

Personally I've turned off Tweety cause of his ass-kissing of many of the Repukes and his blowing hot and cold.

BTW, Faux is still falling - but all the Cable News fell from Sept '05 because last Sept was the month of Katrina and Rita.

For the 3rd Qtr Prime Time for viewers 25-54 Faux is down 38%, CNN 31% CNN HLN 29% and MSNBC 25%.

3. that's the most depressing thing I've heard in awhile, even more than
that 45% of Americans like Bush, as opposed to the high 50s for Clinton

2. Why Why Why?
Why would anyone listen to that dickwad? One would think all the RW freaks would be busy watching Faux.

4. you answered your own question, and very sadly: CNN didn't put
him on out of the blue

unfortunately, they must have found in their research that there's an apparently BOUNDLESS market for mouth-breathing, WWF, ignorant RW Aholes. enough that a foaming creep like Beck would attract a larger audience than somebody from the "left"

how depressing is that?

6. The brainwashed cling to these shows
like Rose to the flotation device in Titanic!

If they "let go" they drown in a sea of truth. That's why they watch faithfully.

...These shows are a safety umbrella to them. Shielding the bushbots from the harsh reality shining at them every day.
Please sooth me with your lies and excuses Mr beck!....Help me Mr O'Lielly. You're my only hope.

O.K. I am out of analogies for now....

11. Must be the same logic which allows the Catholic Church to threaten
pro-choice pols with excommunication, but a church which gives an anti-war sermon risks losing its tax exempt status.

10. GB has such an annoying informercial style
I don't know why anyone, even the most loyal Bushbots, could stand to watch him.

13. Maybe, if Tweety didn't spit on his guests and actually let them
finish an answer to even one of his inane questions, instead of consistently interrupting them he might actually have an viewership.

I personally stopped watching him 5 years ago for those exact reasons

I used to watch every night.

14. I caught a few minutes last night while waiting for KO to come on
The professor who was talking about Allen using the 'N' word and Tweety kept trying to justify Macaca saying basically trying to infer at the time it wasn't that uncommon (early 70's). Yeah right!

19. Tweety.......... I see he has not changed much
The last time I watched him for a full show.

I did a count on the number of responses he allowed his guests to answer without jumping in and cutting them off.

It number was "0"

I realize many other "talking heads" do the same thing, but Tweeety is the worst.

23. I tape the show just in case he has some good guest
or DU'ers rave about something. Since Al Franken is on tonight and Tweety did a smackdown of Gillespie - guess I'm gonna watch this one.
