CNN Poll conducted by Opinion Research Corporation. Sept. 22-24, 2006. N=1,009 adults nationwide. MoE ± 3.

"Do you favor or oppose the U.S. war in Afghanistan?"

Favor Oppose Unsure
50%.... 48%.... 2%

I saw a blurb on CNN about this that Democrats now 4 to 1 are against the War in Afghanistan.

Murkins conflate news and foreign policy with sports. If we're winning, regardless of whether it was legal, or lawful, or appropriate, its 'good'.

Osama's skipped over the border into Pakistan.

And now there's Taliban PLUS (fundamentalists bankrolled by opium).

8. Can $Billions being spent there be put to better use?
Instead of spending $Billions on killing the Afghan people couldn't the money be spent on improving people's lives? Wouldn't that bring more approval from the Afghan people of the US and the Western powers?
