What I hate most about the Left...

is just the word "left." As opposed to "Right."

Left-handed compliments. Left as sinister. Left behind. Left just doesn't have many good associations.

Am I Right?

Right is dexterous, right is correct, we fight for rights, right is proper.

And it's all because of how the parties were seated in a parliament long ago. And now the liberals are all out in left field.

Okay, you misstated it. But the phrase is "out in right field" not left field. Most balls hit to the outfield are hit to the left field. The worst defender in any sandlot game is inevitably sent out to right field.

In baseball, the Right is always worse on Defense.

The whole "left is wrong" issue really burns me up. But I'm one of the lucky ones. My mother refused to let teachers force me to learn to write with my right hand. Of course, it also helped that I started reading and writing at age 3...by the time I went to school I'd been writing for about 2 years!

And as a leftie, I'm the one in my right mind!
