The 06 elections and Iraq .... real facts.

Our invasion made matters worse and has created more terrorists.

The vote in Iraq has fanned the flames of a civil war and put a Shi ite pro Iranian
government into power. (Iran & Iraq are going into the oil business together)

There were no WMDs.

The intel to get us into the war was cooked (Downing Street Minutes).

The Iraqis are worse off now then with Saddam no water, no electricity, civil war,
no jobs, and some of the world's oldest and most import historical artifacts were stolen
after our invasion.

No links to bin Laden, al Qaeda, or 9/11

No exit strategy for the U.S.

We are now seen as invading criminals by the rest of the world.

We are spending @ least 2 Billion a week there

Our troops did not have the right gear.

We tortured Iraqis who might have been fighting us because they saw us as invaders.

In the rush to get into Iraq we let bin Laden get away and Afghanistan is now back under
Taliban control in large sections of the country.

We have had 2,700+ KIAs and 20,000 wounded (missing arms & legs etc)

We have killed @ least 100,000 innocent Iraqis.

Having the Louisiana National Guard there with their amphibious vehicles compounded the misery
brought about by Katrina.

Moving $70 million that was earmarked for flood protection around New Orleans to be spent by the
Defense Dept. also added to Katrina's damage.

Iraq is now in a Civil War

Our military has been ravaged by the war and mismanaged by Rummy & company.

Billions have been lost to contractor theft and waste.

As of today there is not one full strength battalion (600 - 800 men) of Iraqi troops that can fight
on it's own.

Iran & Turkey are now attacking Kurdish areas in Iraq w/ impunity.

And we are less safe now then before the Iraqi war.
