How can you ask people to die for a comma?
Sorry for starting another thread, but this comma thing has been a splinter you can't quite get out since I heard about it. Seems like it might have "legs". I can envision a commercial opening with Bush, then a v-o of "is it a comma to them?" with a montage of coffins, wives/husbands/children at funerals, this kind of thing basically writes itself. I really hope "Mr. I mean what I say" should have to choke on that remark. Even if he thought that, doesn't he have a hint of common sense not to spray that poison out? I'm feeling pretty vitriolic, but have been to too many funerals lately, and sometimes just awestruck by the stupidity and futility of it all.

I think I need about a tenth of the drugs that it probably takes to make the screaming stop in George's head at night. Wonder if he spends a lot of time washing his hands, too?

1. He SHOULD have to choke on such a remark - "Bring 'em on" has been
allowed to slide to a really astonishing degree.

2. You've summed it up perfectly.
It's hard for me to get my brain around, but the deaths of all those people -- our soldiers and Iraqis -- really, really, really mean absolutely nothing to George Bush. Nothing. They really ARE a comma to him.

He has no conscience.

3. Now that's framing. "Die for a comma"? Very sad, but brilliant.
Oh yeah and FUGWB. MKJ

6. I thought that this was a battle for the soul of civilization
a Noble Cause, Light against Darkness, WWIII. Now it's a comma?
