It wasn't just a football game for NOLA **cross-post**
The Saints won 23-3, but that's not the point. Some semblance
of normality was restored to New Orleans tonight.

We liberals can question the priority of rebuilding the
Superdome so quickly, but almost to a person, the people
of New Orleans supported it. Plus, it's a major part of the
economic infrastructure of NOLA.

Growing up a 5 hour drive from New Orleans, I've visited many
times-some I don't remember very well
And I can tell you, the folks there are ecstatic tonight.

Tomorrow, they'll be back to the back-breaking and depressing
work of rebuilding. But tonight-Let the good times roll(sorry I
don't know the French spelling).

This Bronco fan is a Saints fan, too.

5. Can you translate the NEW New Orleans slogan into French?
The new slogan, I'm sure, involves the word "rouler," but in English it is, "Let's roll over the darkies in our bulldozers."

New Orleans ain't coming back, guys. Except as a rich person's tourist attraction.
