Does anyone get it? Clinton is trying to mobilize our base!!!!
And that "Monkey masquerading as a reporter" gave him his best chance.

He created a buzz that will last longer than 6 weeks, and longer the more the right wing tries to spin it.

Remember reports from Paul O'Neill that said Bush wanted to draw up plans at his very first NSC meeting for invading Iraq?

Remember Ron Suskind reporting in "The One Percent Doctrine" that when given the PDIB, on August 6th, 2001, he reportedly told the briefer, "O.K., you've covered your ass, now get outa here"?

Remember testimony, that on Sept. 10, 2001, John Ashcroft said that the next person to mention Osama bin Laden would be fired? And the same day he proposed budget cuts in anti-terrorist funding, and wanted to use it to fight porn?

Now we have the NEI report saying exactly how bad we've screwed every thing up. It's the exact opposite of the administrations assertions!

Mobilize the base! Call your Congressmen and Senators and demand this report be made public! And every Democratic candidate scream it from the top of their lungs until Nov. 7th.

There's no more politically astute person in the United States today than Bill Clinton. He threw us the ball. Now let's run with it!

2. I do. I've been waiting forever to see him get pissed off...
He's a genius at this sort of thing but that doesn't take away from his sincerity.

He looked like he was going to pick up young Wallace and toss him.

Thanks Big Dog...rally those troops.

Everybody go out and vote, massive turnout, make 'em sweat.

4. I Get It! The Truths He Raised Will Live ON
And all the lying liars can do is say, oh look how cranky he looks at this part and this part!! HE SPOKE THE TRUTH...and nobody has for a long time. He did so in a way that will resonate. He knows exactly what he's doing!

party and the future of the USA. Lets follow the leader.

will OUR leadership "get" it. They have to take this and run with it all the way to a Nov win.

The people will get it long before "The Leadership".
I went to visit my neighbors this afternoon. 2 months ago, I got them to change their registration from Republican to Dem. I brought them over a campaign sign for our Statehouse candidate for their front yard.

As soon as they walked out, the said, laughing and high-5ing, "Did you see that interview yesterday!!? We're voting for Hillary in '08, because Bill will be in her cabinet"!!!!

They get it.

had some "back room help" from those who think the Chimp's done enough damage to break through the Media...to do it.

13. I know for sure...BushCo is trembling...
...about the courage Big Dog showed and the truth he told.

Do you know how I know this? Every--and I mean EVERY--right-wing talk radio program is covering Bill Clinton wall to wall. It's all they're talking about. Our local right-wing personalities, Limbaugh, Hannity, Beck, etc. They're not just talking about it a bit. That's all I heard throughout the entire day. They never stopped talking about it.

They're scared. The spin and the damage control is unparalleled.

You're right...Dems must seize this opportunity. The Big Dog laid out the irrefutable facts. It's up to us to make it happen.

I am volunteering this week for our state Dem party---getting absentee ballots to sporadic Dem voters who usually don't make it to the polls during non-presidential-election years. I will do everything possible to get those thug clowns out of office.

Thanks Bill. We'll repay you by walking the walk.

f***ing knows what he did and what gwb's cabal didn't do.

:loveya: for speaking the truth. B.C. you kept us safe for eight years in spite of Whitewater/Monicagate B.S. investigations.

16. Personally, I don't think that was his intention.
If I were Clinton, my first priority would be to set the record straight on what I did during my presidency and then question Wallace on whether he actually examined the Bush Administration in the same fashion as my own presidency.

There's using an opportunity to invigorate the base, and then there's simply getting pissed because somebody is lying about your record, and I lean towards the latter. Now, if the latter leads to invigorating the base anyway, then just as well.

17. Many of our Democrats have working their butts off.
I think I am going to post something about all their efforts. They are all over the country having rallies and raising money for candidates.

I will get my post ready.

Clinton was great, but he is not the only one working to mobilize the base.

18. Well, I sure know Kerry wouldn't do it...
...and Gore would rather do it through seminars and narrated films than screaming in the face of the dirtbag insulting his parentage and the legitimacy of his birth. And don't even get me started on Senator Clinton.

I was actually hoping some of the "non-candidate candidates" like Kucinich or Clark would be the ones to get up and lacerate a reporter on Faux, and pull ahead in the race.

24. But Kerry did do it...
in the form of leading the Alito filibuster.

It was the first time I had seen such motivation of the base since before the election. All the calls, e-mails, faxes, blogging, radio hosts "filibustering for the filibuster"...that was a heady time.

I think he, Clinton, and Gore (raising awareness about Global Warming) are doing just the same.

It's unfortunate that people (not you :) ) still feel the need to put down one Dem just to elevate another.

30. And did he do this in PUBLIC? The Congess is not public.
Doing it in the face of Bill O'Reilly, on his show, live so it couldn't be edited...THAT would be in public. Getting so mad that his hairpiece would fly off and fire would come out of his dentures would be in public.

No, Kerry wouldn't do it in public. Only in the padded room of Congress, where nobody but C-SPAN junkies might catch it if they were watching at 2 AM.

21. he's providing COVER for Dems
As Keith said, Clinton opened the door and made it possible to discuss the truth about 9-11.

He made news.

He provided political THEATER.

Now it's time for others to step up to the plate. And it's time for us to start beating pots and pans and razzing the media.

Go team!

And Keith is putting it all into PERFECT context for dems to use through the election. Clinton yelled "CHAAAARGE!" and Olbermann is giving battle orders (talking points).

29. Ask the same questions of Bush that Fox asked Clinton.
What did Bush do to prevent 9/11? Not only why didn't he do more, why didn't he do anything? We know there was a plan in place for Afghanistan. Why didn't he follow up on it. BUSH didn't do anything about Osama even when it was certified that it was Osama who blew up the Cole.
