Perhaps our biggest problem - sure, it seems the worm is turning - but...
we've seen this happen before, countless times, since the 2000 election theft. What we are coming up against are some aspects of human nature - mainly, pride and stubbornness (to go along with the more typical candidates, ignorance and stupidity). We all know people that just refuse to admit that they are wrong - and the more we try to prove it, the more they dig in their heels.

The solid 35% that would support the misleader no matter what news broke are in solid denial, or are benefitting far too much from the misadministration to want to change...or are those peculiar religious types who haven't had a religious thought or done a religious act in their lives.

So, yes, Clinton goes on the attack, the NIE report shows that this is the pack of lies that most of us here always knew....but the media spins and spins....what will change? I will try to be more hopeful, but the fact that * is still in office, the fact that he can spin and spin (with the help of the media) and a 2% bump is called a great victory - many of us here, I fear, are using intellect and logic to anticipate better days - this is bizarro world, this is something entirely different. This is a whole new level of selfishness, nationalism, insulation, denial that I don't believe we've seen before. So, I am not yet convinced that the tide has turned...and have no idea what will do it.

2. I feel similiary - i try to be hopeful
I mean you have to hope - but I was hopeful in 2004, and that didn't pan out - this time I think i have even more reason to hope, but i'm scared to - because of what happened last time around.
