Cafferty's 5:00 question.

Do you agree with President Bush that the war in Iraq will be recorded as nothing more than a "comma" in the history books?

There is no light at the end of the tunnel and the way this bogus invasion is going it will drive the US Treasury close to bankrupcy. Our grandkids will be paying off the debt the lying BushCo has rung up. The death toll in US military is over three thousand with many thousands of other nationalities dead, including non-combatants. There is no limit to this clown's arrogance to minimize this to such a level of seeming trivia.

And Jack, it really must have pained you to refer to him as President Bush.

2. just like those Crusades are a comma?
Or, those battles at Marathon & Thermopylae? Less than commas.

Hannibal's defeat of the Romans at Cannae - all but forgotten.

I'm sure the English have forgotten William the Conqueror in 1066...

just like the Greeks have forgotten the fall of Constantinople in 1453...

6. Both.
He'd be more effective and coherent if he were in a coma, and hopefully someday we can move past all the mess he's made and let history consider him to be just a comma.

10. Here:
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=102x2528572#2528803

It was when bush was interviewed over the weekend by his eager, simpering CNN lapdog, wolf blitzer. One of his makes-ya-proud responses.

Also - EXTREMELY honorable mention to DUer krispos42 for a post in this thread to the effect of...

"This from a guy who's just an asterisk."

GREAT line, don't you think?

13. Amazing! Just when I think they can't shock me anymore!
You know why he said comma? Not for the reasons others think. He didn't mean it was insignificant. He meant we will be FUCKING OVER ANOTHER MUSLIM COUNTRY.

Afghanistan, Iraq, who is next?

Unfuckingbelievable!!!!

And that is what he said on the clip.

Here's a link to a related article ....

Ed: Here's a link to the video from C&L. It took me about three minutes to D/L it. There must be a lot of people interested in this video generating a lot of web traffic.

12. Jack just said he received over a thousand responses to this question.

Overwhelmingly pointing out what an idiotic statement this was.
