CNN just reported that 4,000 troops who though they would be going home in January, will be staying a bit longer. How many times have we heard that.

2. 1AD in March 2004 and 172nd Stryker Brigade last July

extended indefinitely. Rummy told the families he wasn't Santa Claus so couldn't promise the 172nd would be home for Xmas. Now that we're losing Iraq and Afghanistan, it's going to be sometime in 2007 before anybody gets home.

They're forcing members to stay in longer than their commitments and forcing people who've gotten out to return in what's called the "Stop Loss Program".
It's also being done illegally but since when has this administration cared about the law.
