Dems should filibuster pro torture legislation
why don't Dems filibuster in such an important issue? Torture doesn't work anyhow.

2. When does the bill come up on the floor of the Senate?
When it does, they should filibuster it. Anyone know the schedule for this and when Frist will file for cloture?

3. Has it come out of committee?
I know they had a hearing, I haven't seen what happened.

5. I think we should filibuster
I had a teensy hope that it would get held in committee until after the election, but it should be filibustered unless there's massive change on the floor. I'm just trying to figure out where the bill is at this moment. I've already contacted my one good Senator.

6. What about placing a secret hold on the bill?
Like that A-hole in Alaska did...

That seems to stop 'em dead in their tracks!

8. A filibuster just before the election - torture on the minds of voters?
I expect Bush will try to steer clear?

7. If it would stop the bill becoming law, then they should.
If not for this bill, when would they use it?

9. Yes...
If they don't know right from wrong they should all be fired. What good are lawmakers in an outlaw country?
