The comma, comma, comma chameleon....
Ya know sometimes if I shut my brain off completely I can almost ALMOST understand what he's trying to say.

But i gotta say this Comma comment about iraq is off the radar of nonsense land.

Does anybody have a clue what he was TRYING to say?

1. I invaded Iraq (comma) and then I was convicted on war crimes charges.
I hope that's what he meant.

3. You are doing better than I
most of the time I end up confused and frustrated. Since we do know how he operates I suppose it doesn't have to make sense anymore although it would be nice.

To me this comma statement was perhaps one of the worst of all his horrible statements. I think he meant to say that history will look back from the wonderful democratic and peaceful countries of the MidEast (thank you GWB) and all the blood, guts and lives will be inconsequential. Lovely thought eh?

9. In his mind.....the ends justifies the means...
Comma,,,,,The lives and deaths of the American soldiers insignificant....
Comma,,,,,The lives and deaths of the innocent Iraqi's insignifigant....
Comma,,,,,The destruction of a country insignificant....
Comma,,,,,Torture and abuse insignificant....
Comma,,,,,The attempt to destroy the American view of the Geneva Comma,,,,,Convention insignificant...
Comma,,,,,The attempt to rewrite the Constitution and standing laws insignificant...

Because you see my friends in his mind and his ultimate goal is that his legacy 50 years from now history will look at the above things and dismiss them because his legacy is more important than all of the things noted above.... 50 years from now the historians will be talking about what a great leader he was and how he was bold and took charge...

(of course the problem with this is the historians will look at Americans at the time and wonder how we let it happen and how did we let the attrocities occur and how did we let a madman in the WH)

That is what the comma means....just sayin...

'Never put a period where God has put a comma.'

He's jabbering to his base again. Dog-whistle politics.

11. My take (fwiw)
Narrowed it down to one of two choices-

Could be filling in the space between the commas:

1. Afghanistan, Iraq, next, and then, so forth and so on, etc.

or

a timeline:

2. the entire history of Iraq, invasion and occupation, Armegeddon and ever after

or

come to think of it, could be a third:

3. Everyone who has ever lived and died anywhere, deaths in Iraq, everyone who dies anywhere else in the future

Then again,

he could just be fucking nuts.

Of the two choices, I'm going with #4.

14. Future history books
in Bush Fantasyland: President Bush's invasion of Iraq was heavily criticized at the time, (comma) however historians now agree that this invasion allowed the liberation of the entire Middle East. All hail the great leader.
