Re: Iraq: This is HUGE
Now that the government has officially acknowledged that the Iraq war was a mistake and has made America less safe, will the Bushites continue to support it?

This is a real pivotal time for the Bushites. This is a time when -- once and for all -- they will reveal whether they are capable of putting the national interest ahead of their loyalty to the Glorious Leader.

2. Why do that when you can attack the bureaucrats
I mean what's more enjoyable, making fun of washington establishment? Or admiting a mistake.

5. If * does admit he was wrong, he could always weep like a baby
and beg for forgiveness the way Pat Robertson? Jim Bakker? did. I can't keep track of the actions of the big-name evangelical sinners, so I'm not sure if I've gotten the names right.

Bush never admits mistakes.

But now that the Iraq invasion has been officially acknowledged to be a mistake, Bush's loyal followers are at a tipping point: Do they support America's best interests? Or is does personal loyalty to Bush trump everything else?

All we can do is sit back and see what they do.

14. Are you kidding me ...
Wasn't Cheney on MTP about a week ago spouting about how everything is perfect, and that if he could do it all over again, he would do the exact same thing ?

I think we will see more about punishing who ever leaked this information (rather than taking the information at face value and proving that this Admin has been lying since day 1).

Cheers
Drifter
