The fact is, we didn't listen and act when we had a chance and we're paying the price.

Had we focused on OBL when we needed to, instead of invading Iraq, things would be different. But we didn't.

Had we listened to everyone else in the world saying Iraq had no WMDs and was no threat nor had anything to do with 9/11 or OBL, things would be differnt. But we didn't.

I've told all my friends that Bush is planning an October Surprise, and that it'll either be the killing of OBL, or invasion of Iran. I bet them 10 bucks it'd be OBL, as I think the Iran situation will only escalate in words, and the invasion proper will happen after the election, or in early November if they see a chance they might lose.
