THE "NUMBER" HIT 2700 THIS MORNING.
This just has to end. It is so wrong.

www.icasualties.org/oif/ for details of events in Iraq.

Afghanist is still at 338

Wounded - 19,945 (but that figure hasn't been updated in a while)

Iraqi dead - about 100 a day now. That is worse than it was under Sadaam.

1. I have a vague memory of a number that the pundit class
kicked around. They cynically claimed that the US citizens would accept this war until the casualties reached this magic (but unremembered) number and then they would rise up and demand the war be stopped. Do you have any info on this or did I make up the whole conversation in my head?

Note: certain friends and relatives claim that I must dream up some of the things that I classify as vague memories because they have never heard of them through anybody but me.
