FRIST: If we discuss torture techniques enemy will TRAIIN to RESIST them
Edited on Sun Sep-24-06 09:16 AM by Stephanie

On George Stephanopoulos just now - If we discuss which types of torture are allowable, the terrorists will train themselves to resist these techniques. Talking about which torture techniques we are using only HELPS THE ENEMY.

Is it possible to be a both a Republican and a human being?

to keep torturing and if we tell you exactly what we do, then you will know we torture too - and then we can't lie to you and tell you how great and wonderful America is...and we might go to prison for war crimes because we are liars and war criminals"

And he and the neocon cabal follow this philosophy:

The state must declare the child to be the most precious treasure of the people. As long as the government is perceived as working for the benefit of the children, the people will happily endure almost any curtailment of liberty and almost any deprivation.

Let me tell you that I'm going to pull your finger nails out one by one until you tell me what I need to know.
How in the hell, doctor dumb fuck, are you going to prepare yourself for the unbearable pain. I'm going to tell you you won't die from it, but I'm going to waterboard you. it works fabulously! you will tell me what I want to know. not what YOU know, What I WANT TO KNOW.

You are eerily reminiscent of another doctor in history; mengele. Why don't you just go away you worthless excuse for a doctor, man, human being?

I'm watching him now with Stephanopolous. Unbelievable. What an awful jerk.

Frist, Delay, Macaca, Katherine Harris - what on earth did America do to deserve such awful politicians? Do ordinary Republicans admire these foolish, racist criminals? What is going on in this country?

Edited on Sun Sep-24-06 09:52 AM by rustydog
Haven't given a FUCK about America, her condition or her future. They care only about winning. Period.
they care about a class society and do not care if the people on welfare die from hunger, or whatever.

We are the dregs of THEIR society and we are expendable. we produce the automobiles,we bag the groceries, we save the their lives in for-profit hospitals, we pay taxes so they don't have to and we die in Iraq so their children don't have to.

18. Exactly! I'm listening to McCain right this minute
and he's explaining how "severe" pain is worse than "serious" pain as a difference in what is and isn't torture

and then there's the consideration if it's prolonged or not...so how long you suffer in pain is a determining factor in if it's a crime or not

America is admitting it tortures...that's been established. America tortures...America is now just defining what torture is acceptable

How fucking sick is that?

24. How do you quantify "severe" and "serious"?
Short or long pain? So is it short pain if you slap someone? How about if you slap them repeatedly for 4 hours, is that torture? OR even better use a cattle prod. The effect is felt instantly, its not "serious" because the cattle seem to survive.

Read article 17 of the Geneva Convention. All this stuff is just evil, illegal, and barbaric.

25. You should have heard him...it was unreal
Edited on Sun Sep-24-06 10:01 AM by Solly Mack
He was actually claiming "pain" is only torture if it is severe instead of serious

and then he couldn't give examples...said he didn't know the techniques so he couldn't comment on how that works

then he said Bush wouldn't do anything against the "compromise" and if he did, they would deal with it

26. Wait a second...
He actually said he did not know the techniques used, but still claimed that it was "severe" and not "serious"? How do you know if you don't even know what they are doing!?

You've got to be kidding me. This coming from a guy supposedly tortured in Vietnam! When did his soul evacuate his body

27. Exactly! I'm not kidding and when asked him about his experience
He just shrugged it off...saying he can't say if his experience compares to torture now since he didn't know what the techniques were and if what happened to him would fall under "serious" or "severe" under the new guidelines...so he really couldn't comment

Now, if making him stand in a stress position for 2 days isn't torture now, then it wasn't torture then..so McCain, by his own admission, was never tortured and has been lying about that for years.

Or he's lying now

I think he's lying now

"If we give the playbook to the enemy, to the terrorists themselves, they'll simply train themselves to resist those techniques.

I'm not going to comment on techniques, it helps the terrorists who want to come and assassinate us."

23. We must insist Frist agree to having these techniques done to him
so he will know what is torture and what isn't. I would love to see Frist submit to water boarding.

I think we should insist that supporters (in his administration and congress) of bush's torture techniques submit to them to see if they are or are not torture.
