Just more 'left-wing propaganda'?
Edited on Sat Sep-23-06 09:57 PM by LuckyTheDog
Tell me: Do our intelligence agencies, and John D. Negroponte, director of national intelligence, have a "far-left, anti-American Bush-hating agenda?

If not, I'd think that even the most loyal Bushites would find this report sobering. But I am sure they'll find SOME way to dismiss it and insist on "staying the course" no matter what:

A stark assessment of terrorism trends by American intelligence agencies has found that the American invasion and occupation of Iraq has helped spawn a new generation of Islamic radicalism and that the overall terrorist threat has grown since the Sept. 11 attacks.

The classified National Intelligence Estimate attributes a more direct role to the Iraq war in fueling radicalism than that presented either in recent White House documents or in a report released Wednesday by the House Intelligence Committee, according to several officials in Washington involved in preparing the assessment or who have read the final document.

The intelligence estimate, completed in April, is the first formal appraisal of global terrorism by United States intelligence agencies since the Iraq war began, and represents a consensus view of the 16 disparate spy services inside government. Titled “Trends in Global Terrorism: Implications for the United States,’’ it asserts that Islamic radicalism, rather than being in retreat, has metastasized and spread across the globe.

1. THe PNAC crowd can only profit off of war, they don't know
anything about nation building. The plan has always been to make more terrorists so the US will have someone to fight and make a profit off of. War is profitable and lives are mere capital. These people are warmongering criminals. I hope they all pay one day, in the Hague or maybe some local justice.

4. We all know this-- and expected this
but did the average american? Doubt it. Will the sackless Dem's take this and run with it? This would be a great tool to get people fired up and off to the polls, but I won't hold my breath.
