There are a HELL of a lot of conspiracies goin' on & that's no theory
Call me any old name you wish, I don't care, never did, but when two or more people get together and conspire to do anything that's called a conspiracy.

And when the government we now have is so secretive and filled with mendacity we must all become theorists about all the very real conspiracies going on on so many levels.

Is it any wonder, considering the news of late why some folks start to drift into speculation land?

1. sure, here is but one - Another Profiteering Scheme, Neil Bush & Crest...
Neil Bush, has a $60,000-a-year employment contract with a top adviser to a Washington-based consulting firm set up to help companies secure contracts in Iraq, according to the Nov 11, 2004 Financial Times.

Neil disclosed this employment during a divorce deposition on March 3, 2003. He testified that he was co-chairman of the Houston-based, Crest Investment Corporation, which invests in energy and other ventures, and said he received $15,000 every three months for a average 3 or 4 hours of work a week doing "miscellaneous consulting services." "Such as?" his ex-wife's Attorney asked, "Such as answering phone calls when Jamal Daniel, the other co-chairman, called and asked for advice," Neil answered.

2. You said: "folks start to drift into speculation land?"
I'd say we've taken up residence. There is so much happening that a person can't keep up, even if they had all the information in their hot little hands.

Even members of Congress find it difficult to figure out what's happening when everything is classified or denied/delayed when requested under the FOIA. Incredible isn't it?

5. Pretty much all of it tracks back to one crime family
The extended Bush crime family (to include their myriad co-conspirators across the Anglo Saxon world)

14. I like the old standby: motive and opportunity
It's the theory police often use when investigating a crime. Unfortunately, it leads to things like suspecting the Bush Administration of involvement in the anthrax letters and such and to think that would be crazy!

12. The whole Iraq War was a conspiracy
Edited on Sat Sep-23-06 07:47 PM by Downtown Hound
So for people who say there's no conspiracies, they're not looking very hard. As for 9-11, the Kennedy assassination, Martin Luther King, RFK, I believe the government was behind them all. Call me whatever you want, but one thing I've noticed is that the same people that call me names for believing such things are the same ones that bought the government's claims about Iraq's WMD's hook, line, and sinker. So maybe they should get off their high horse once in awhile and realize that they don't, in fact, know everything.

13. A prominent Republican, and a pilot, has died in a plane crash.
Michael F. Wille was the national chairman of the title industry's political action committee/TIPAC, the President-elect of the American Land Title Association, and owner of Wisconsin based The Title Company, Inc.

In his 10,000+ hours of flying he had flown a President's wife and son, Tommy Thompson, and US Congressman Mark Green among others.

Well, Mr. Wille is dead due to his plane crash.

Here is how the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel is reporting his death (btw, check out the State politics news for further understanding of this, unless you think it's just another "coincidence")

Here is Mr. Wille's ALTA bio.

15. If I were in politics or the media, on the semi-bad side of Bushco ...
I'd stick to commercial airlines. Even they aren't totally safe from them, but they're safer than light planes.
