C-Span: William Kristol on with PNAC'ers saying Bush too weak...
Kristol is grinning his way through an incredible spin to a PNAC supporting group at Claremont College.

He says Bush went wrong in his second term by being too weak in his foreign policy. He's advocating doing something about Iran in months to make sure that their Dominance will be stopped.

He was raving his way through the 20th Century telling lies about Korea and Vietnam and I listened as long as I could before I had to turn it off. Christopher Hitchens is also on the panel and he will be up next.

These people are really Crazy.

1. Kristol is barking mad.
Edited on Sat Sep-23-06 03:03 PM by ocelot
He's batshit crazy; he's always got that demented grin on his face while he spouts the looniest stuff. Throw in that rabid drunk Hitchens and you really have a circus of fools. Why are these people not locked up in an asylum somewhere?

3. That's why he is on our TeeVee.
That's why he's a "respected" pundit.

Any reasonable person (with perhaps the exception of Keith Olberman) is not allowed on the "public" airwaves.

This country has gone insane.

him in the back? I love it. The loonier they come across, the less support he will have for his dreams of conquering the world. Of course the Claremont colleges are known for being run and attended by right wing moonbats.

8. Ok, then. Let's give Kristol a rifle, some ammo, a uniform
and drop him in the middle of Tehran. He can then "do something" about Iran.

12. His whole introduction was given as if he had lived through the whole
20th Century and therefore he was an AUTHORITY on how WEAK America had been!

Sadly the guy probably grew up with Sesame Street! Neither he nor anyone else on that panel ever wore a uniform. Those of us who had family members who fought in WWII and KOREA know that the "graves" must be rattling with them turning over to hear the Lies these PNAC'ers are spouting.

The only good thing is that this was NOT very well attended. So many empty chairs in that room for such high powered Idiots. Claremont College is very Conservative...they couldn't get better attendance than maybe 50 people for the GREAT ARCHITECTS OF WAR in the NEW 21st CENTURY?

10. I turned back on for the "Q&A" OMG! Woman asks if we shouldn't have
bombed more civilians in initial Iraq Invasion? She asked if we were too careful in our "Precision Bombing."

Then Hitchens is raving that the Christians are a "Fifth Column" who have always been responsible for stopping "US" in what "WE" want to do." (paraphrasing his remark but he's dissing Christians for not wanting to do what "they" want to do? :eyes: i.e. what the PNAC has wanted to do? Is the PNAC now a WORLD CULT who is against Christianity? The audience laughed and applauded his comments!

Kristol was completely out of it ...and Mark Halperin was complaining that the Iraq Invasion didn't have ENOUGH Shock and Awe because the Turks prodded by the French didn't allow us to use their bases. If we'd used their bases we could have come into Iraq like Patton and caused huge Shock and Awe.

These people are what are driving Bush and Cheney!

They also agreed that the New York Times is a Left Wing Rag and that if you want to know what Dems are thinking then read the NYT's! Calling Judith Miller and Ahmed Chalibi...please!

They are lunatics...or worse..than evil itself. And, their audience are people that would kill the rest of us because they LOVE "Collateral Damage." :scared:

14. They're not crazy
they're mean, cruel, sadistic and greedy. As long as they prosper it doesn't matter to them who they hurt. I would love a chance to get in a boxing ring with just one on these supposedly brave Americans. Limbaugh, Kristol, O'Lielly, Hannity, Beck, Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, etc, etc, I would be happy to go toe to toe with any of these "tough guys".

16. They are not happy until they have ADOLF HITLER
If Bush were as competent as Adolf, Bush would already be liquidating anti-war activists and Arab Americans.

Next on his list would be Greens, democratic socialists, trade unionists, and finally fringe liberal Democrats.

17. What does a right-winger have to do in this country to be discredited?
Edited on Sat Sep-23-06 05:06 PM by Marr
Bill Kristol has been deeply, staggeringly WRONG about everything he's pontificated about. I'd say that suggests his analysis isn't worth a damn, and his opinions should be ignored.

20. Maybe they have plans in the works for eliminating him, soon.
With Israel gearing up to strike Iran, that would be the perfect deciding-event over here, to justify our joining in all the fun over there. Of course some stoolie like Lee Harvey (or Ali Havidub Oswala, I mean) would be needed to blame such things on, so the vengeance-mode could be properly set.

I will never underestimate what guys of that cabal like Kristol are capable of. I don't believe for one minute that their disastrous agenda has been set aside. He wasn't shown on C-Span for nothing.
