Do you dread or savor a Jeb Bush '08 presidential run?

Leaning towards savor, but then I thought GHWB had killed the brand name once and for all in '92. (Then again, he did; W hasn't won one yet.)

but Jeb will be much easier to beat than McCain or Giuliani.

5. I guess I don't think McCain and Ghouliani would be as tough to beat...

... as everyone else. I personally don't think they could get out of the primaries. With the power the evangelicals have acquired since 2000 they won't be looking to turn it over to anyone that isn't in lock step. They already don't like McCain, and once they find out about Ghouliani's social positions he'd be untouchable.

If McCain would be able to get out of the primaries he would be unstoppable. Ghouliani on the other hand has WAY too much dirt on him to come out alive.

If you think * has a rabid, knuckle-dragging, tongue-speaking base you haven't seen anything. Jeb has the perfect combination of social darwinism, plutocracy, and fundamentalism to push him through in 2012 or 2016. All he needs is another Karl Rove to get the Repukes to fall in line.

And, like it or not, if he runs he has FL. wrapped up. That makes for a VERY tough electoral battle if they already have TX and FL in the bag.
