A week ago I read where Rove had promised an "October Surprise"...and methinks this might have come out at the wrong time. A tip-off is how this came out on a Friday night/Saturday morning...the typical time for a document dump. Now, one can imagine that, if indeed, this is the case, this would be the PERFECT October Surprise for the Republicans. Killing Bin Laden - no doubt a trumped up story about how our brave forces scoured the caves and fought a valiant fight, killing many 'insurgents'....

But....If France is indeed, correct, it would not be very much for the White House to brag about that he died of natural causes before they caught him, and they played no role in his death. Steals their thunder. Makes them look pretty weak.....
