Rick O'Donnell, a Republican candidate for Congress in Colorado's 7th district. In response to the controversy over an essay he wrote in 1994 calling for the abolition of Social Security, the Colorado Republican party has issued this flyer in which O'Donnell Apologizes for his youthful indiscretion.

2. I will say it again: Republicans don't give a shit about real people
and the only time they will ever even consider doing the right thing on an issue is when it would otherwise affect them personally in a negative manner.

He's really groveling, but I sincerely doubt he would have a change of heart or mind if his mom wasn't a victim of the system.

When your mother was homeless, why didn't you offer her your place to stay instead of allowing her to live in her car?
