He liked his speech at the UN.

Not saying this to start a flame war but that is what he said.

The Lebanese War ended on August 17th.

1. Yes, I caught that. I guess Clinton couldn't very well sit there and
tear the oh-so-deserved a new asshole, though I wish he would have!

2. Many editors thought el diablo's speech before the UN was
my way or the highway type message
and the war in Iraq and Lebanon was a US and still is a uni-laterial stance

I just hope others caught that part of the interview with Keith.

3. I listened to him too. I suspect what he was discretely referring to
was Shrub's unilateral invasion into Iraq! I must admit, I was quite surprised BC didn't laugh at the question though! I think he KNOWS the possibility of a phone call like that one is from zip to impossible! But BC remained his composed self, as usual.

Somehow, I can't see anyone in the current admin ever being diplomatic enough to follow his suggenstion though.

7. No not just Iraq he put a time frame on it.
the last three months so that has to include Lebanon as far as NOT acting so uni-lateral.

5. Wasn't his "speech" a lot of the same thing?
The "freedom agenda" and such? I didn't watch except for a few clips and that what he was talking about.

6. No
the question was on what advice he would give the current president he * asked.

He answered Keith's questions in two parts and complimented Bush's speech at the UN.

11. You may be too young to remember this, but I'm not.
When Nixon resigned, and there was a real possibility of a trial. a conviction, and jail time, MOST Americans DID NOT want to see an American President go to jail!

Today, I think that has changed! Sorry Shrub, but I'm thinking a whole lot of people wouldgive ANYTHING to see your hinyin a cell behind bars!

12. 3 months? Is that some kind of record for him?
and why the fuck should anyone care. He's done enough unilateral warcrimes already to keep a Hague tribunal busy for the next decade.
Buy hemp futures, if there's any justice in this world.
