Why is everyone saying the Dems are giving in on torture?

It's Friday, neither House nor Senate is in session, there hasn't been a bill brought to the floor, let alone a vote called yet. And the last time the issue of torture came up, the Senate vote against it was 90-9.

So again, whats with the "Dems giving in" rants?

when i asked where dems are supporting torture i havent received answer. but i amcurious. i have yet to see one elected democrat support torture. i have heard many decry torture.
