Bill O'Reilly's use of the term "secular progressive"
Ugh. If you're up for an infuritating read, check out Media Matters' review of barstool fascist asshole Bill O'Reilly's new "book".

http://mediamatters.org/items/200609220010

My Repub boss describes me as a secular-progressive. I have never objected, because I think it is an accurate description. In fact, I was surprised he used this term, because I don't think it carries any negative connotation. After reading this O’Reilly book review, I now I believe that my boss must have heard this term from O'Reilly. Did O'Reilly popularize this label?

2. Yes, I believe ol' Bill did come up with that one
So you might want to watch out vis a vis your boss - he sounds like the O'Reilly equivalent of a ditto-head. Personally I'd be honored to be called a secular progressive as I'm a socialistic atheist - but I prolly wouldn't get a job in your company with those bona fides!

3. This is really sick. Overt exploitation of religious bias to single
out people you don't agree with politically is sick, twisted and hateful.

12. Ewww, "progressive"...
...because everybody HATES progress, right?

If this is true, then Billy must define himself in polar opposition to the dastardly enemy that threatens America. He must refer to himself and anyone who supports him as "regressive", "retarded", "arrested", "go-nowhere", "backward-looking", "anti-progress", etc.

(Of course, "shit-witted pervert cretinous bigot dumbfuck wannabe-Nazi asshole" pretty much covers it in Billy's case, but the phrases above might at least make him feel a bit more clever.)

14. "Secular Progressive" is like "Drive By Media"
and "homocide bomber". They're terms coined so their listeners/viewers can unite with each other publically. They're secret code-words to make people feel like they're members of some kind of "movement".
