I think Gore will run if Hillary doesn't, Gore won't run if Hillary does
I think that's why Gore has been so negative about the idea of running again for president. He knows there is a 90% probability that Hillary will run and he doesn't want to run against her and bring up all the old baggage with the Clinton's. He knows how the Clinton's operate and doesn't want to deal with them. It would at best be awkward, at worst a divisive nasty free for all.

But on the slim chance Hillary won't run, he's leaving the door open. I fully expect him to run if Hillary doesn't run. He'll beat Kerry and Edwards easily and has hundreds of millions of dollars in google stock that he can cash in. Fund raising will not be a problem for Gore.

1. And Others Say He Will ONLY Run If Hillary Enters The Race
To stop her from becomming the Nominee, something I support entirely.

3. Me, too.
Go Al! We aren't a frickin' monarchy. I'm personally sick and tired of this Bush/Clinton circle of power. WTF?

2. I don't think it's that easy. Gore and Kerry would be a great debate, but
I don't think Gore can outdebate Kerry on most of the issues and including terrorism. Gore would end up to Kerry's right on a few issues that really set them apart.

The media won't interfere to help either of them the way they helped Bush on the issue of terrorism.

Either one would make a great president - I just disagree with you that Gore could easily defeat Kerry in the primaries. And since Kerry is an anti-corruption, open government Democrat, I side more with him.

But IMHO neither is going to run.

6. I doubt he cares about Hillary
Only if it looks like he can win, and if he feels up for the work. A presidential campaign is the hardest job in the world. Six months of total hell.

7. When Hillary spoke at Ann Richard's funeral, she looked like hell.
I don't think she would last through a long, tough campaign.
