We need to use what Sen. McConnell said today

On the Election: They'll retreat, raise taxes, and impeach Bush
In that election, he said Republicans will stand on their security record and counter Democrat attacks about the "do-nothing Congress" and the growing despair with Iraq by reminding Americans what it McConnell says it will be like with Democrats in charge.

"They will retreat in the war on terror, raise taxes, and impeach the president," McConnell said, sitting casually without a jacket, blackberry on his hip, in his Capitol Hill office. "We are going to remind voters that its not just about us (Republicans), its about them (Democrats) too."

Basically we have a US Senator admitting that the only thing keeping a criminal President in office is his protection by his own party. Let me say that again. MCCONNELL IS ADMITTING THAT HE THINKS BUSH IS IMPEACHABLE. Thus he must be privy to and in league with some of the high crimes and misdemeanors that this administration has committed. If we had an opposition party they could probably use something like this. There I go dreaming again.

6. I've always admitted that I vote Democratic mainly because
the Rethuglicans suck even worse.

I also think that, if the Democrats have any semblance of a spine, guts, and/or balls (always a big if), they be spending the time between now and Election Day saying, Damn right we'll impeach that scumbucket. Have they seen how well-respected Il Dunce is by the public lately?

2. Well, that's sure an interesting approach! I have only ONe problem with
it. I'm not sure how many Americans arejust sick and tired of partisan fighting, and none of our elected people ever just try to do what's best for America!

I personally would LOVE to see Shrub Impeached! At least THIS TImE it would be for justifyable cause! But Idon't want'to spend the next 2 yearsissuing subpoenas and holding hearings! How many other voters feel that same way? I don't know the answer, but the possibility scares me!

4. That is part of the GOP strategy...
keep us in power, let us continue to run roughshod over the country, otherwise the Democrats will spend the next 2 years coming after us...

7. But HOW do we counter that? Hey folks, it won't take 2 years?
or There's so many severe offenses, it will only take 6 months?

Do you see what I mean? My dream would be to elect a Dem Super majority in Nov., and get this mess cleaned up byJune 1st! But somehow I think I'm dreaming.

3. Those who want him impeached will turn out to the polls!
Why worry about our Dems not coming out strongly enough against Bush's lies when the Repugs Fear will do it for us. Just a thought?

It's pretty bad when a Party has to run on FEAR of their P-Resident and his cronies being Impeached to win. :eyes:

5. Boy maybe one day , the Republican Party
will stand for America, before their own party. Just like those in 1974, who told Nixon to resign.

8. One kick
This should be a major talking point for us. They know they're protecting a rat. Throw all the rats out. It could work to our advantage in driving people to the polls just to impeach the chimp.
