How long are Democrats going to keep the Powder Dry?
And, what exactly would finally get the party to actually think about using the powder?

7. Well, we're certainly not going to waste it fighting to keep the SCOTUS
from being stacked with glassy-eyed, fundamentalist pro-life neanderthals.

We're not going to fritter it away defending ourselves from attacks saying that we *heart* terror and we want to have Osama's love puppies.

We're not gonna piss all the powder away responding to theocratic madmen who want to whizz all over our constitution.

We're going to wait until the time is right, and then respectfully submit that certain tiny details about the indefinite Iraq occupation or the continued demolition of our civil liberties could be handled SLIGHTLY DIFFERENTLY. Oh, and we want religion in government, too! Woo-hoo!

8. By now the powder has long since passed its
expiration date. The Dems have sat idly by or participated in perpetrating such atrocities as the Iraq War, the bankruptcy bill, the installation on the Supreme Court and in other high government positions of those who would use the Consititution as toilet paper, and now torture. They lack the will and the intestinal fortitude to call the repukes on their bullshit becase they are live in fear of what will be said about them or, worse, done to them. Those anthrax letters showed that the Bush Crime Family means business, and apparently the Dems got the message.
