How to fight back in a dictatorship!
This week has been horrifying. Bush, the GOP thugs and his Christians are doing anything they want to do! Torture, vote-stealing, constitution destroying, bankrupting, lying about everything etc. But the low was when through all this evil, all the Democrats could do was defend "Their President" from the "dictator" Hugo Chavez! I know people have tried to make light of it but it really hit home just how fucked we are. The GOP and their followers are just "in your face" criminals and laughing because they know NO ONE will stop them from doing anything they damned well feel like! They know the Democrats in Congress won't stop them. I think they're right.

With the voting machines in place and Democrats still ignoring the 800 pound elephant in the living room, I think the THUGS will just steal the elections again. That will mean that we lose AGAIN! I'm really so sick of the Democrats at this point that I don't even want to hear another word. There's no explanation that can excuse this complete failure of duty to us, the country, decency or anything else. THEY SUCK PERIOD!

So I'm going to start thinking ahead. We obviously are going to have to change tactics because we are going to be living in a different country after November. Our leaders may be failures but we can't afford to be. The democratic system will be completely broken. Votes won't matter, the rule of law a joke, the media corrupted and USELESS! It's time to start thinking outside of the box.

So how to fight in the new state? I'm beginning to wonder if taking it to the Bush supporters is the way to go. We have them profiled pretty well. White, conservative, greedy, selfish, fascist and most of all CHRISTIAN!
We need a stealth community dedicated to undermining them in everything they do. This is war as far as I'm concerned. It will last years probably but it will be worth it to see these bastards get what they deserve!

So what I'm going to do is keep up the fight to win the election, but I'm going to start preparing myself for the worse. A dictatorship!
I don't mean to depress anybody but I've just had it! I can see the writing on the wall and I've got to change the way I think about these things. Maybe the Dems have a secret plan to win. I hope so. But if they don't I'm finding a new way to take this country back. I know it can be done. Where there's a will there's a way.

1. I Don't Know How It's Possible To Fix On Our Own
I fear that after they steal another election, it will be well beyond our control, if it isn't already.

The next move for me might be to make plans for relocating elsewhere. If I have the means and desire, it may be the only way to save my conscience of living in such a pathetic excuse for a country, surrounded by corrupt and dishonest individuals....and MORONS too.

When a small group of people have made the difference. Look at the French resistance or people who helped Jews escape Hitler. I'm sure it has seemed so impossible for lots of people. I guess what really makes me sick is having your own leaders sabotage your efforts.

10. The People and The Government are divided
Edited on Fri Sep-22-06 02:52 PM by djohnson
Especially as U.S. politicians seem more concerned about governing Iraq and other parts of the world more than our own society, it's becoming clear that the U.S. people are without a government. It's clear that Repukes would lose if everyone voted, for instance, if somehow people could vote online... but that goal is far reaching. In the meantime, since we have no government, just as the Repukes planned it, and we are under the control of the super rich; every aspect of peoples' lives is planned out with precision by a few hundred individuals who control everything. They control us down to our standard 40 hour work week, two weeks vacation, and every product that we feel we must have. The super-rich is our government, in this Banana Republic.

The solution simply is to tax the rich the way we did in the 1950s and 60s when the U.S. was the most prosperous and the average person had more than ever. For instance in 1955 the top 1% paid 85.5% in federal taxes whereas now they pay about 25%. If we cannot elect a government to tax these people then I don't know what other alternative we have.

22. The issue is neglect...
And the people in control now want us to be automatons and there is not much we can do about it. The U.S. has lost its character, since we do not have a government but robber barons in control of everything. The only way to survive is for everyone to submit their entire lives to corporate control, and even then it is unlikely that a person will ever be able to retire at any age. How does one rebel against that? Stop working? That doesn't really help. What do we do about the misuse of the military overseas? I don't know. What do we do about people being neglected healthcare? I don't know that either. What do we do about all the lies and about stupid idiots rising to positions of power in elections that we no longer control? What do we do about a government and corporations that WANT us to be dumbed down?? These are very difficult issues to productively address.

11. How do I say this without violating DU rules?
The revolution will not be televised. It will have no "leader".

It is up to individuals to do what they think is necessary, when they think it is necesary.

Some pointers though:

Don't try to create or join any large resistance groups. They are either already infiltrated or have been created and run by the other side. Trust no one!

Terrorism is NOT the answer. The killing of innocents must be avoided at all costs. Random targeting of Military/LEO installations is not the answer either. That grunt with the gun is just following orders.

For the "I'll take a few out with me if they come for me" crowd. This does absolutely nothing, but prove you were a danger after all. It only strenghtens their side, and they don't give a flying fuck about the grunt you killed before they kill you. If you were willing to be killed for your beliefs, then put your gun to your own head. The grunt who will put you in boxcars have no idea where you are going, and it will have a greater impact on them scraping you up off the floor than to have them shoot you in their own defense.

About Non-violent resistance. The only thing that is good for, is for the military to try out new weapons, and to gain the sympathy of the rest of the country through dead and injured bodies. No social change has ever occured without bloodshed. Remember Haymarket square, Kent State and Dr. King. Let's just stop rioting and destroying our own neighborhoods, OK?

The rest is up to you. Think carefully, think outside the box.

12. Somehow, discussing formation of a "stealth community". . .
on a public internet discussion board seems somewhat counterintuitive.

If you truly believe what you've said, you'd do well to truly take your beliefs "underground," and not air them for all to see on some fancifully-named internet site.

While you're at it, I'd advise you to read the original Dark Side of the Moon, by Zoe Zajdlerowa (preface by T.S. Eliot, afterword by Helena Sikorska, widow of General Wladyslaw Sikorski). It'll give you a better grasp of what you may be up against, if in fact your belief proves true. If nothing else, you'll come away with a comprehensive overview of the fate of Poland from 1939 to 1945. And too, the works of David Rousset (The Other Kingdom) might be instructive, as would those of Hannah Arendt (The Origins of Totalitarianism). Arendt provides an eye-opening view of the efficiency of protest, even in the face of grinding totalitarian oppression, in Chapter 7 of Eichmann in Jerusalem. The success was minimal, at best, but certainly better than those who simply accepted.

Good luck. And bear in mind always Rousset's chilling conclusion: Ordinary men do not know that everything is possible.

You know, nobody takes me/us seriously anyway. We're moonbats. Conspiracy nuts. Even when we're always right. I think it may be a matter of conviction. Sometimes you have to give up to win. I know that sounds strange but I need a new vision. Change.

19. Christian should be in quotes.
I share all of your thoughts. I am also a Christian. But I'm not like 95% of the people who call themselves Christians, but who are totally ignorant about what a Christian is. In fact, I even accept evolution. It's how one acts, not what they profess.

Just don't categorize whole groups. Some of us aren't like those idiots who seem to think they can don a hat and have it be so.

It just bothers me that maybe some day I'll get a knock on my door simply because of a title.

I don't know what else to say except that I am totally disgusted by what is happening. Just as much as all of you. And that includes the sick behavior of those who claim to be "Christians".

26. Church! What the hell is that?
I just got back from a bike ride through the forest. It's where I get most of my good thoughts.

Actually, it isn't hell for me. I don't care what people think. And I can post this link to show you that I actually laugh my ass off about this stuff. My other favorite website on earth---

http://b3ta.com/board/6360133

Oh yes! Now I remember what my forest biking thought was. Christians are liberals. Any true Christian condemns conservatism. That's why I got a big kick out of the Supply Side Jesus cartoons of a few years back. True Christians are on your side. On OUR side.

As for church, there's no way I'd set foot in one. Maybe the Stanford Memorial. They have brains there. But my church in this town is comprised of bush loving evil creatures. The pastor was saying how we should be in Iraq. I have a cemetery on my property. That's how I met him. He came here looking for someone. Bla bla bla.

24. I love this thread.
First, you have someone rattling the cages and clamoring for some kind of action, a double-secret underground probation (or something).

Then you have various responses, mostly stingingly sardonic, one chiming in that, sure, you can resist, but you cannot resist violently ( . . . or, for that matter, non-violently), so anyway, what was the question again?

Then, at the end, a "Christian" or Christian (or something) chimes in afraid that "Christians" or Christians are being reflected in a bad light.

If I weren't laughing, I would be crying.

25. Perhaps California leading others in seceding might help...
Edited on Fri Sep-22-06 05:14 PM by calipendence
Part of the reason for my handle here was after 2004 might thoughts on this as an option if things were go to get real bad. If it becomes so obvious that our constitution has been thrown out at the federal government level, and the government continues to only give back 77% of the dollars we in California give them in taxes, etc. I say we put a secession proposition on the ballot for the following election, or perhaps wait until the 2010 election to do so. In any case the next election, I think we should put a proposition for a state funded militia, which would be used instead of the national guard here. And that way, the feds couldn't touch them for duties in Iraq, etc. The militia would at this point do the things the national guard would normally do (fighting fires and other disasters, etc.). And later they could be the basis of a state army if we were to put forth that secession proposition.

Many have indicated that if California were to be a separate nation, it would be amongst the 10 most powerful countries in the world. Of course we'd have to do something about the various things that we currently don't do as a seperate country that might affect things (like having our own army, etc.). But if we were the state to take the lead on this and successfully challenge Bush in the process, then perhaps other states would follow on (Oregon, Washington, northeastern states including New York) and join with Canada to form a contiguous land area. Kind of like the "Jesusland" pics said earlier in 2004.

But I'm afraid that just a party organization or other organizational entities won't be enough to fight back an oppressive Bush regime if they keep pushing these buttons to the extreme. We need to get land areas under control of an opposition. A state proposition might be the basis to start this. We of course need to do our part in voting out Schwarzenneger and McPherson in 2006 to make this a viable option too.

Another proposition might be at some point to say we're not going to pay more than we get back to the government in taxation. Find some way to stop having them leeching off of us to fund their agenda.

27. Will you be using rifles, pistols or automatic weapons, sir?
You've already decided that the Democrats have lost. Well, if it's like that, get strapped and practice your marksmanship.

You've already determined that the people who voted for the Republicans are your enemy, and that the other voters are fools. Do you load your own ammunition, or are you just stocking up on the store-bought stuff?

Perhaps you ought to talk to my sister in Saint Louis, who got a copy of the Anarchist's Cookbook, so she could plant electrically-detonated nerve gas bombs under her front lawn, to protect herself on the day that the economy collapses and the..."n-words"...invade the suburbs to rape and kill all the whites.

You paranoid fetishists make me sick. No matter what side of the political spectrum you're on.
