Hey Dems ... Silence is NOT a good campaign strategy!
Edited on Fri Sep-22-06 01:17 PM by BattyDem
It's time to speak up, stand up and FIGHT for our country, our Constitution and the people you were elected to represent! What is it going to take to convince you that Americans are CRAVING for real leadership. Stop being afraid of Rove and STAND for something! Voice an opinion! SPEAK UP!!! Hugo Chavez called Bush "the devil" and held up a Noam Chomsky book as proof to support that opinion ... and that book is now number one on Amazon.com. Doesn't that tell you something?

You will NOT win by sitting back and hoping the Republicans are hated enough to lose. You MUST give people a REASON to vote for you because if they don't believe that you're going to fight Bush any more than the GOP does, then they'll be discouraged from voting. I know this because frankly, my attitude at the moment is, "What's the point?"

I hate feeling this way. I hate feeling angry and discouraged and helpless. There are millions of us who feel the same way and we're willing to put those feelings into action - but we need someone to take the lead!

When will someone ... ANYONE ... in the Democratic party stand up and FIGHT for our country???

1. Amen, amen and amen. I keep
thinking somewhere out there in this country is a dark horse with our hero riding on it. He or she will come to our aid. When I am thinking about it I realize there is no one currently in the game who could do it. We have no government. Everyone in power is out seeking more power. It is always said that we, the people, can change things by an election. Well, duh! When everything is rigged we can't manage anything. The biggest con game in the world began with 5 people on the Supreme Court and continued 4 years later with rigged voting machines. And every day we see the bad guys win.

2. They pipe up about Chavez calling El Diablo, well..El Diablo.
Yet they are stricken mute on the apparently non-important issues such as torture, and the horribly deteriorating state of affairs in Iraq.
Jeebus help us.

5. That's one of the things I'm so angry about

So many Dems were quick to jump to Chimpy's defense because Chavez called him a name ... yet torturing human beings and locking them in prison indefinitely leaves them speechless! :eyes:
