Why don't our Dem. "leaders" ask the Torture Party members...

If the torture we are visiting on enemy combatants would be be ok to do to their
son's or daughters if they were serving and got captured?

Who, really, is putting our troops in greater danger?

1. I think we can already guess the answer.

Of course, none of the Torture Party members would ever allow a member of THEIR family to serve. Why, that would be unpatriotic to expect such a thing. Serving in the military is what the ordinary folk do. They die, no biggie.

It's just a number.

2. If our kids get tortured because of the policies of the torture party

their base won't give a damn. Their base does not care about our kids. They have their talking points down pat which they believe.

- Our kids are volunteers
- More die in car wrecks
- More murders occur in one county in America
- And our kids serving in Iraq lie about their injuries and PTSD when they return to the states

And yet, only "conservatives" support our troops.

Fucking conservatives don't even know why we are in Iraq now but they have no doubt that we should not leave. They are a cancer on our country.

3. Torture will guarantee the bushes a terrorist force.

Look how the Islam people riot when a cartoon is published or a remark is made that they don't like. Torturing Islamic terrorists or suspected terrorists will ensure that they will continue to attack. If publishing cartoons upset them just imagine how torturing their people will up set them. Torture always motivates your enemy.

4. The ONE specific Senator who should be asked that is McCain!

One of his sons JUST enlisted and the other son is a Junior(I think) at a military academy, and will be part of the military upon graduation!

I would ask John"Do you personally believe YOUR son would be OK staying within these new torture guidelines?" And then the BIGGIE! "John, would YOU be OK with it, if your son were ever captured, thatthe enemyapplied our new torture guidelines to HIM?"

I would LOVE to hear his answer!
