That is way up - last time I checked we were at 2690.

www.icasualties.org/oif/ for details.

Things are just exploding over there. We had a report that a new kind of car bomb is being used. The carjack some poor guys car and while they detain him they wire up his car. Then they let him back into his car - he doesn't know his car has been turned into a bomb - and then let him drive away. And they just explode his car whenever they feel like it.

That is so sick.

But this whole war is just so sick.

1. Who really is doing this? I just wonder. Who benefits the most
from the constant fighting?

3. That would be those who want invaders out of their country
I just pray to God that no country does to us what we have done to Iraq. Although, I think we'd put up one hell of an "insurgency".

2. Yes, but what's going on with Anna Nicole Smith?
I just posted this thought in another thread, but yesterday there were a few articles talking about how delighted Karl Rove must be that the Iraq war has left the consciousness of many Americans as the result of dwindling mainstream media coverage.

It's been a spectacular failure in Bush's "War On Terror," producing more "terrorists" and "insurgents" than it eliminated.

And as we all know, when the going gets tough, the tough go to their happy place.
